Merlin Circuit Technology Ltd is based in a purpose built 4,200 square metre factory situated six miles west of Chester in Deeside.
To ensure we can meet our target turnover of £5M for year 2006/2007 Merlin has invested heavily in new plant and equipment. In July 2001 we completed the relocation of the Portslade, Brighton manufacturing facility to Hawarden and combined the technologies of both plants on one site.
Our market for high technology multilayer boards, which accounts for 65% of turnover, is split equally between export and home market.
Scandinavia is our largest export market but Singapore and the Benelux countries are increasing annually.
We also export to the USA, China, India, Greece, Estonia, Canada, Israel and expect to increase our market share in these countries in conjunction with our sister company Kestrel International Circuits Ltd.
The remaining 15% of our turnover is dedicated to flexible and flexi-rigid products, which are primarily supplied to UK customers.
