Two other technology advancements have been addressed by Merlin to ensure we can meet tomorrow's state of the art requirements and the impedance control requirements of modern high-speed circuits. These are the development of high-aspect ratio drilled holes upto 3 : 1.

Merlin work closely with Polar Instruments who hold an enviable position as a leading industry supplier of impedance control calculator systems and time domain reflectometer (TDR) measurement equipment. The products we produce for Polar must meet a tolerance of +/- 2% rather than the industry standard of +/- 10%.
